Wash rice soak it in water for 6 hours.

Wash urad dal soak it in water for 6 hours. In urad dal add Fenugreek seeds.

After 6 hours drain water from rice and udad dal.

Grind urad dal Fenugreek seeds in grinder make smooth batter.

Batter should be fluffy and not very thick.

Mix both the batter together in large bowl.

Cover it with plate and leave it at room temperature for 8-10 hours or overnight for fermentation.

Stir the batter with a spoon. If it looks too thick, add few tablespoons water and salt and mix it well.

Heat non-stick tava.

Sprinkle few drops of water on the surface.

Apply 1/2-teaspoon oil on the griddle and spread it evenly with a spatula.

Take a ladle full of batter, pour it over the surface of tawa.

Make it into round shape.

Apply 1 teaspoon oil around the edges of dosa.

Cook until the dosa turn light brown.

Hot and crispy plain paper dosa is ready to serve with chutney and sambhar.
