Ingredients

  • 2 bottles100% Tart Cherry juice (46oz X2)
  • 2 cansTart Cherries in syrup or water (15oz cans)
  • 1small jar maraschino cherries (8oz or so)
  • 2 cupssugar (1.5 cups if using canned cherries in syrup)
  • 1 tspAlmond Extract
  • 2 cupsMoonshine (use 3 cups if want it strong)

Steps

  1. 1

    In a pot combine all ingredients EXCEPT almond extract and Moonshine

  2. 2

    Bring slowly to a boil, simmer lightly for 30 minutes, stirring to dissolve sugar

  3. 3

    Remove from heat and let cool completely to room temperature

  4. 4

    Add almond extract to taste.

  5. 5

    Add Moonshine

  6. 6

    Stir well. Divide into Mason Jars

  7. 7

    Allow jars to sit (bottle condition) for 14 days.

  8. 8

    Enjoy
