Super easy, perfect for a quick dinner or appetizer. We picked up a whole wheat bread with lots of seeds, had some cooked chickpeas on hand, and came up with this perfect, improvised idea—even if you have guests over!

Super easy, perfect for a quick dinner or appetizer. We picked up a whole wheat bread with lots of seeds, had some cooked chickpeas on hand, and came up with this perfect, improvised idea—even if you have guests over!

Slice the bread.

Combine the cooked chickpeas, tahini (or sesame seeds), and 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil. Blend everything with an immersion blender. If the mixture is too thick, add a little warm water.

Assemble the crostini by topping each slice with pieces of sun-dried tomato.
