Ingredients

  • 1/2 cupChickpea flour
  • 1/2 cupMango pulp
  • 3 tbspSugar
  • 2 tbspCondensed milk
  • 7-8Pistachios (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 tspNutmeg powder
  • 2 tbspMilk

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a ½ cup of chickpea flour, add a ¼ cup of mango pulp to it.

    Grind it along with 1.25 cups of water to dissolve it's lumps.

    Add the paste in a pan and cook while continuously stirring it on medium flame.
    Add 3 tablespoons of sugar to it and cook while stirring it furiously.

    Stir and cook until it starts boiling. Add nutmeg powder at this stage.
    After boiling it, cook it for more than 10 minutes.

    Take some plate and spread the batter on them thinly using a flat spatula.
    Cover the remaining batter until it reaches to it's thicker consistency.
    Keep the plates aside for 10 minutes until set.

    After it has set, cut into rectangular sheets of 1.5 to 2 inches.
    Separate it using a knife and roll to fold it.

    Take 2 to 3 tablespoons of mango pulp, add 2 tablespoons of condensed milk.
    Add 2 tablespoons of milk to it for rectifying it's consistency and mix it well.

    Spread some mango milk over them and garnish it with some finely chopped pistachios. Mango Malai Sweet Khandvi is ready to be served.
