saltfish (salted cod) • all-purpose flour (more or less) • water • ackee (if you want just saltfish fritters just omit this) • dried thyme • Green onions, chopped • baking powder • Scotch bonnet pepper,minced (more if you like it spicy) • egg • salt and pepper (if you removed to much of the salt from the fish) • oil for frying • garlic cloves,minced
