Sponge cake cut into squares about 2-3 Cm thick • custard (I used tinned custard but you can make your own or use custard powder) • mixed frozen berries - defrosted (I use fresh in the summer) • water • Raspberry Jelly crystals or squares • For decorating - whipped cream, toasted flaked almonds, grated dark chocolate • Port or liqueur (optional and can be substituted with apple juice)
