Ingredients

  1. 1 kgchicken
  2. 1 kgbasmati rice
  3. To taste salt
  4. 1 tbspred chili powder
  5. 1 tbspRed chili flakes
  6. 1 tspcoriander powder
  7. 2 tbspbiryani masala
  8. 1 tbspginger garlic paste
  9. 2 tbsponion and tomato paste

Cooking Instructions

    Heat the oil saute Ginger garlic paste. Add chicken and cook for 4 to 5 minutes.

    When color changes add all spices and saute 1 to 2 minutes. Then add tomato onion paste and cook until oil separates.

    Then add rice with 8 cups of water and cook till water dries. Drizzle yellow food color on rice and cook for 10 minutes on low flame.

    Dish out the delicious dam biryani and enjoy with raita.
