Kafta balls - Lebanese style meatballs

In Lebanon we call it Kafta, but in other countries in the Middle East, it can be referred to as Kofta/Kofte. Very popular especially in Ramadan 🌙
I used a mixture of lamb and beef here as we had both in the office kitchen but you can enjoy it with either of them or with any other types of mince.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Make sure you squeeze the water out from the grated onions
- 2
Put the ground beef and lamb into a large bowl along with all the other ingredients and spices. Mix with your hands to combine everything
- 3
Form into small patties or thick fingers.
- 4
Place on a baking tray (no need for oil as the lamb meat is fatty enough) and cook on 200C for around 20 minutes. Then grill the top for a few minutes.
- 5
I best enjoy them on skewers grilled directly on coals -
- 6
Photos from my sister’s house on a Sunday with the Family ♥️ that’s how we enjoy Kafta with other meats as well and of course with lots of hummus and tabbouleh!

Beer Meatballs 🍺 Beer Meatballs 🍺
Meatballs are a classic dish found in traditional cuisines around the world, from the Middle East to Europe. The version with beer, popular in many regions of Spain and also in Central European countries, combines the juiciness and intense flavor of the meat with the slightly bitter and aromatic touch that beer provides. Beer not only enhances the flavor but also helps make the meat more tender. Beer meatballs have become a comforting dish full of history, and today I invite you to make this homemade recipe.Hope you enjoy it! Good luck in the kitchen. Yum yum. Enjoy your meal!! 😋😋 M.
