Ingredients

  1. 50 gmsMaash daal
  2. 1/4 tspBaking powder
  3. 1/2 tspChaat masala
  4. Oil to fry
  5. 250 gmsYoghurt
  6. 1/2 cupMilk
  7. 2 tbspSugar
  8. Salt to taste
  9. 1/2 tspCumin powder

Cooking Instructions

    Soak daal for few hours.

    Grind daal into a smooth paste.

  3. 3

    Mix in salt,cumin and baking powder.

    Leave it for 15 minutes.

    Heat oil in a wok.

    Put spoonfuls of batter and fry till light golden.

  7. 7

    Soak fritters in water till tender.

  8. 8

    Whisk yoghurt with milk,sugar and salt.

  9. 9

    Drain water from fritters.

  10. 10

    Mix fritters and yoghurt together.

  11. 11

    Sprinkle chaat masala on top and serve.
