Ingredients

  1. 1 cupsliced raw mango
  2. 1/2 cupjaggery
  3. 2 tspoil
  4. 1 tspmustard seeds
  5. 1chopped onion
  6. 5crushed garlic cloves
  7. 1chopped Tomato
  8. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  9. 1 tbspred chilli powder

    First, peel off the top skin of the mango and cut it into slices.

    Heat oil add mustard to the pan and when the mustard splutters add onions and saute it along with crushed garlic and saute well..

    Add the tomato and saute it, then add the mango and saute it well.

    Once the mangoes are fried, add turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt and some water and boil it well..

    When the mangoes are cooked well, add jaggery and let it boil until it becomes thick..

    When it gets to a thick consistency, it will look like jam..

    Now ready to serve with curd rice...
