Teriyaki Chicken and Peppers

When my boyfriend walked in and just SMELLED this dish, he was ready for dinner. It was as delicious as the aroma promised! Easy weeknight meal!

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 2large chicken breasts
  2. 1/2green bell pepper
  3. 1/2red bell pepper
  4. 1/2yellow bell pepper
  5. 1/2 bottleKikkoman Teriyaki Marinade and Sauce
  6. 3 tbspbrown sugar
  7. 1/2 tspgarlic powder
  8. 1/2 tspblack pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Cut chicken breast into small bite-size pieces.

  2. 2

    Slice peppers into thin strips.

  3. 3

    Pour teriyaki sauce into large skillet and heat stovetop to medium heat. Let simmer for 5 min.

    Add brown sugar and let simmer until it dissolves (about 5 min), stirring occasionally.

    Add chicken. When chicken is about halfway cooked, add peppers. Cook until chicken is cooked through and peppers are to your liking.

    Serve over white rice.

I'm curious did anyone end up with real watery sauce? I don't wanna over cook the chicken to let it thicken so I guess the rice will soak it up... Smells great tho
