Firehouse Stuffed Jalapeños

Ingredients

  1. 12 largeJalapeños
  2. 10 ozFilipino sweet sausage (may substitute or change amount)
  3. 8 ozcream cheese softened
  4. 1 tspminced garlic
  5. 1seeds for heat
  6. 1grated cheddar/jack cheese (may substitute)
  7. 1salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven 400°F

  2. 2

    Split peppers lengthwise and de-seed

  3. 3

    Brown sausage, drain and put in bowl

  4. 4

    Combine cheese, garlic, seeds for heat, salt and pepper to taste and hand mix with sausage

  5. 5

    Spoon mixture into pepper halves

  6. 6

    Place a small sprinkle of grated cheddar/jack on top of each pepper

  7. 7

    Place peppers onto lined cookie sheet

  8. 8

    * Remember to wash hands after handling seeds

  9. 9

    Place in oven for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is browned
