I had a pound of ground beef that had to be cooked one night but my wife wasn't home and I don't know how to "wing it" in the kitchen. I found this recipe online. It turned out so well that my family asked me to make it 3 more times that month.

Ingredients

  1. Dinner
  2. 1 canPillsbury Cresent rolls
  3. 1 lbground beef
  4. 1/4 cuponion, chopped finely
  5. 1/3 cupdill relish
  6. 2 tbspketchup
  7. 1 tspyellow mustard
  8. 2 tbspflour
  9. 2 tbsppickle juice
  10. 2 tbspmilk
  11. 10 sliceKraft American cheese

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 375

    Brown ground beef and drain. Return the beef to a low heat.

    Stir in ketchup, mustard, onion and relish into the beef.

    Add flour, pickle juice and milk. Simmer until thickened stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat and mix in 4 slices of Kraft American cheese until cheese is melted and well mixed with the other ingredients.

    Cover the bottom of a 9 inch pie pan with the Pillsbury Cresent rolls to form a "pie crest".

    Add beef mixture into the pie pan. Cover with the remaining 6 Kraft American cheese slices. You want to cover as much of the top as possible.

    Bake for 15 minutes.
