I like the fact that dumpling can be done with more than one method

Ingredients

40-50 minutrs
7 servings
  1. 1 kgcake flour
  2. 1 sachetinstant dry yeast
  3. 2 cupswarm water
  4. 1\2 cup inkomazi sour cream
  5. 3\4 cup brown sugar
  6. 250 grama
  7. 2carrots(peeled and grated)

Cooking Instructions

40-50 minutrs
  1. 1

    In a large bowl mix flour with all the ingredients until the dough is well combined

  2. 2

    Cover the bowl very tight and leave for an hour until it doubles the size

  3. 3

    Knead the dough again and fill the dough into three or four koo cans

  4. 4

    Using a large pot pour just one to one and half litre of water then place cans into the pot,cover the pot and cook until they well cooked

  5. 5

    When the dumpling has cooked well then remove from tons let them cool and use a bread knife to cut into ring shapes

  6. 6

    Can be served with any stew meat of your choice

  7. 7

Originally from Kenya I always bought ready made dough and always flopped.... your recipe was quick simple and tasty.....
constructive criticism though.... fill the koo tins half way to allow room to rise.... I used 10 tins
