Ingredients

  1. 1/2 litrefull cream milk/low fat milk (either one of the two)
  2. 100 gmsjaggery chopped
  3. 2 tbspsugar
  4. 2 tbspfresh beaten curd
  5. as neededKesar strands for garnish

Cooking Instructions

    Boil milk in a saucepan. Stir occasionally & let it boil on medium flame for few minutes.

    Add the chopped jaggery, sugar & mix well so that everything is well combined. Simmer on low flame for 1-2 minutes. Turn off the heat.

    Let the mixture cool down lil bit. (U dip ur finger in the milk and feel warm not hot & thats accurate temperature to add the beaten curd)

    Now add the beaten curd in the milk mixture &. Whisk well.

    Now pour the mixture in earthen/terracotta pots (for best results). Cover with aluminium foil & let it set in a warm place.

    Refrigerate after Mishti doi is completely set. Serve with meals or have it like a dessert !!
