Twice Cooked Pork
Why it is called twice cooked pork? Because the pork was boiled first and then stir-fried. It is literally cooked twice. It is a classic Sichuan dish from China. I twisted the recipe by changing pork belly to pork shoulder roast, because I found my American families and friends don't enjoy fat meat so much. Every time when I bring this dish to parties, people love it!

Oh-So-Creamy Marinated Eggs
I love "ajitama" flavored eggs they serve at ramen restaurants so much, I always ask for them! I'm really particular about that soft, creamy texture, so I experimented with the cooking times until I was satisfied. The cooking time is key.If you stop the cooking at 6.5 to 7 minutes, and cool the marinade down properly, the yolks will be creamy soft and delicious inside. For 2 servings. Recipe by haruka616.

Rice Cooked with Corn
My in-laws (who are farmers) send us tons of corn on the cob every year.Since it's fresh and in season, it tastes delicious when boiled and seasoned simply with salt, but we always look forward to cooking it with rice. The cobs add really good flavor to rice when cooked together. My younger sister, who is a very good cook, taught me that trick.Use as much or as little butter as you want! Of course, it also tastes great without any butter at all. Recipe by Mikko*mikko

Super Tasty and Easy Healthy Chicken Skin Yakitori!
This recipe became the top search for 'chicken skin'! By boiling it in broth, it gains a rich flavor, and the fat is reduced, making it a healthy chicken skin yakitori. The story behind this recipeI love chicken skin, and it's often sold cheaply at supermarkets (like trimmings), so I remove the odor with sake and season it with broth. It's quite good! This makes me drink too much beer!

I recommend using 200 ml of sake and about 3-4 tablespoons of mirin and soy sauce. Recipe by Kimocchi
