Chicken and beans soup

Cooking Instructions

Wash the beans properly. In a pan add 1 cup of water, little salt and the beans. Boil for 3 to 4 mins. Strain the water and keep it aside.

In a heavy-bottomed pan add 500 to 600 ml water. Add the onion, ginger, garlic, green chilli, salt and the chicken pieces. Boil for 8 to 10 mins. Strain the water and keep it aside, we have to use this water later as chicken stock.

Now shred the chicken pieces and remove the bones (if any).

In a heavy bottomed pan heat 1 tblspn of butter. Add the preboiled beans. Add little salt and black pepper as per taste as the chicken stock is already salty. Cook it for a couple of mins then add the shreded chicken and the chicken stock. Check the seasoning and Cook it for 10 mins.

The healthy chicken and bean soup is ready to serve. Serve hot.
