Perfect for students or anyone needing a quick and delicious meal!

Marinate chicken with 1 tbsp sesame oil, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, white pepper, and salt for 20 minutes.

Chop garlic, ginger, and spring onion.

Heat oil in a pan, add garlic and ginger, and fry until golden brown and fragrant.

Add uncooked rice to the pan and sauté lightly for extra flavor.

Transfer rice to rice cooker pot. Add water (using finger method), chicken stock, 1 tbsp sesame oil, ginger sauce, salt, and spring onions.

Place marinated chicken on top of the rice.

Cook in rice cooker for 30 minutes or until rice and chicken are done.

Fluff rice, mix gently, and serve hot.
Tips
Using the finger method for water ensures the rice is perfectly cooked. Adjust salt to taste before serving.
