Ingredients

  1. 500 gmMutton or Lamb -
  2. 3 tbsp Mustard oil -
  3. 3 eachGreen cardamom, cloves -
  4. 4 Onion - medium sliced
  5. 1 tbspGinger garlic paste -
  6. 2 tspKashmiri Chilli powder-
  7. Salt to taste
  8. 1 tsp Garam masala powder-
  9. 1/2 tspDry ginger powder -
  10. 1tsp Fennel powder
  11. 200 gm- Curd -

Cooking Instructions

    Method
    1. Heat mustard oil till smoking point and add whole spices.

  2. 2

    2. Add sliced onions and cook till light golden.

  3. 3

    3. Add Mutton and sauté till evenly browned.

  4. 4

    4. Add ginger garlic paste. Sauté.

  5. 5

    5. Add salt and kashmiri chilli powder and cook.

  6. 6

    6. Add curd and cook till water evaporates.

  7. 7

    7. Add water, cover and cook on a low flame for 40 minutes.

  8. 8

    8. Add garam masala powder, dry ginger powder and fennel powder.

  9. 9

    9. Serve hot with rice
