Choco Flake Bar

This is something I tried making for Valentine's Day.
In Step 7, if you try cooling it in the refrigerator then attempt to cut it, they'll fall to pieces. So I recommend waiting for them to harden at room temperature. Let them naturally expand and harden for a lighter feel and taste. Recipe by Yumitarosan
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Wrap up a pan with plastic wrap.
- 2
Mince the chocolate and melt on low heat with the butter together in a large pot or frying pan.
- 3
Once it starts to bubble remove it from the heat to prevent burning. Mix well.
- 4
Add the marshmallows all at once. Continue mixing until there are no lumps left.
- 5
Add the corn flakes, mix once, then stop the heat.
- 6
Continue mixing until uniform. Mix from the bottom upwards in a scooping motion.
- 7
Once you finish mixing quickly pour into the pan. Use a rubber spatula to make sure there are no holes and it's packed in tightly.
- 8
Wrap and leave out at room temperature until it cools completely. Cut into your desired size.
- 9
In Step 7 you can also create rounded balls with a spoon, etc. In this case I recommend making them small.

Double Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars Double Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars
We are all always hunting for that elusive beast, "the perfect chocolate chip cookie". I'm not going to tell you this recipe is perfect by any means, and as it's written it's "cookie bars", not straight up cookies - although I do have a note at the end for the option of making cookies. I make bars because as a busy mom spreading my dough out in a cake pan and throwing it into the oven is faster than making batch after batch of individual cookies, waiting for my cookie sheets to cool between each batch, and lugging the dough in and out of the fridge to ensure the cookies don't spread ridiculously. What I WILL tell you is that this recipe is my own compilation of my favorite aspects of a variety of cookie recipes I've tried over the years, and we think it's delicious. And be prepared for open gooey yummyness, cause that's ehat you're gonna get with these! StephieCanCook
