Baked Cod in Foil

Baked cod with lots of mushrooms in foil ♥
Of course, the cod is delicious, but the vegetables are also very tasty in this dish ♬*゜
The origin of this recipe
A favorite foil-baked dish I've been eating since I was young ♥
The onions and mushrooms become sweet with butter and are very delicious.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Thinly slice the onion, trim the stems from the mushrooms and separate them as needed, and cut the ends off the maitake mushrooms and tear them by hand. Thinly slice the bamboo shoot into bite-sized pieces.
- 2
Lightly spread butter (or margarine) on aluminum foil.
- 3
Pat the cod dry with a paper towel, place it on the foil, add the ingredients from step 1, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place a scant teaspoon of butter on top.
- 4
Wrap the foil. Bake in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes until done.
- 5
You can drizzle a little soy sauce when eating, but it's flavorful enough on its own, so I usually don't add any.

You don't need to wash up a lot of things after making this dish. You can make this in advance and bake just before serving. It is a handy dish Use salmon or mushrooms according to the season. The order of piling up the ingredients is the trick to this recipe. To season the cod with salt, place the salted lemon directly on top of the cod. Finish with bacon! By sandwiching the vegetables with salted lemon and bacon, the saltiness is going to be absorbed by the vegetables. Recipe by Heartful Kitchen Rei cookpad.japan -

Salmon Baked in Foil Salmon Baked in Foil
My mom used to make these in a pan, but I can prepare side dishes while these are steaming in the oven, so I changed the recipe like this...When closing the aluminum foil in step 4, if you fold 1 cm of each end 2-3 time and again in the center, then the steam will not escape. When eating, I think adding a bit of soy sauce or ponzu sauce, if you prefer, is delicious. When opening the aluminum foil, it is really hot, so be careful not to burn yourself. Crispy Baked Cod Crispy Baked Cod
This has got to be one of the simplest, yet most tasty fish recipes I've yet to make! Coating with the mayo not only helps the crumbs to stick but keeps the filets moist so they don't dry out. The fish and sauce pairs nicely with spaghetti squash lightly tossed with a bit of coconut oil, salt & pepper; and green beans. I thought the lemon butter sauce was heavenly served over all of it!
