Ingredients

4 servings
  1. Salads
  2. 1/2white onion
  3. 1 bunchlettuce
  4. 2 smallcucumbers
  5. 3 tspsugar
  6. 1 tbspparsley
  7. 1 tbspfreshly chopped dill
  8. 1/2 cupapple cider vinegar
  9. 1 dashsalt (optional)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Peel cucumbers and thinly slice.

  2. 2

    Thinly slice onion into half moons.

  3. 3

    Chop lettuce into finger width strips.

  4. 4

    Place cucumbers, onions and lettuce into a deep bowl.

  5. 5

    In a cup, mix the vinegar , sugar , parsley and dill , stirring until the sugar is dissolved.

    Pour the mixture over the vegetables.

    Let it sit at room temperature for approximately 30 minutes. (The cucumbers will release some of their water and the liquid in the bowl will increase).

    Cover and chill well before serving.(optional)

    Add the salt if required.

    Enjoy.
