KAAAAANNNNAAAAAA! This is soooo yummy!!! I normally spend at least 15usd just to eat this 1 dish. At first I was skeptical about the Jam worrying that it’ll be too sweet. But it’s PERFECT and adds a slight sourness to the sauce! I swapped strawberry jam with lingonberry jam though cos I only have those and added more garlic & gochujang. It’s a new family fav!!! OMG, I am speechless, this is by far the best yangnyeom chicken I've ever had 🤩 I tried multiple recipes in the past but this one is incomparable. I love a hint of strawberry jam that gives a little kick to the taste buds ✨ I made mine without frying to keep it light, so the texture was rather tender than crispy - loved it regardless. Thanks Kana for sharing this amazing recipe!

Tada! My chicken yangnyeom finally done! Believe it or not this is my first time cooking a Korean dish. I used more gochujang sauce and less strawberry jam, and used zero sugar and water as I like to keep the sauce thick & spicy. I also used garlic powder instead of grated garlic and garnished with sesame instead of nuts. Everyone is right about this recipe, it's soooo YUMMY and so easy to do! Totally fool-proof! Thanks Kana for this wonderful recipe ❤️

Made this for the 6th time this week! CRAZY GOOD! I’m hoarding all the Lingonberry Jams, Strawberry Jams & Gochujang Tteokbokki Sauce to bring back to Borneo 🤣. Oh I need to stock up on Edamames too! Hi Kana! Made my favourite recipe of yours again but this time with homemade gochujang & a bit more adjustments to suit my taste! I used no-sugar organic mixed berries jam in place of strawberry jam & made gochujang paste from miso paste, paprika, cayenne, chilli flakes, cherry tomatoes & garlic blended together. Hi @kanaaneko. Finally find the time to cook your recipe. The sauce is really yummy, the next time around I’ll add more gochujang to make it spicier. 😅 Save so much money by making it at home instead of ordering from KFry (a restaurant where I normally get my Korean Fried Chicken).
