This is a recipe I adapted from a recipe card collection I got through the mail. This was my first time cooking a real meal in my new house. 8). It was a big hit so I'm sure I will keep it.

Pork Chops with Spicy Orange

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. Dashoil or spray for the pan
  2. 4thin cut Boneless Pork Chops
  3. 3 TablespoonsOrange Juice
  4. 2 Tablespoonsreduced sodium Soy Sauce
  5. 1 teaspoonMustard (preferably Dijon) but yellow is fine
  6. 1 teaspoonCrushed Red Pepper flakes (or to taste)
  7. 4or so turns fresh Ground Black Pepper
  8. 1-2scallions (green onion)

Cooking Instructions

    In a small bowl mix Juice, soy sauce, mustard and both kinds of pepper

  2. 2

    Heat oil or spray in a medium size pan

  3. 3

    Add pork chops and brown on both sides (about 2 minutes per) on medium high heat

  4. 4

    Add juice mixture over the pork. Cover and reduce heat to low. At this point I added the white onion part of a scallion chopped

  5. 5

    Simmer for about 10 minutes flipping occasionally

  6. 6

    Top plated chops with sauce and the green end of a scallion chopped
