Fried Salted Naan

You get naan in a store in a package and it's not like fresh naan. So I thought to myself I don't have an oven with open fire to throw raw naan on the side to cook. Since if I order it from the local restaurant by the time I get home with it to eat with soup, my special diet I have to be on. I just fry it. It went perfectly well with my soup!!! Success!!!

Herb Naan Bread Herb Naan Bread
I learned how to make my own naan about a year ago. I loved the fresh flavor and ease of making it at home. Also loving Greek food and tzatziki sauce I thought to combine the flavors. Oh so yummy! Serve this as a bread on the side, place in grilled meats and sauces and wrap or enjoy in so many ways. Building flavors starts here. Taylor Topp Comacho -
Delicious Naan Bread Delicious Naan Bread
Naan made only with bread flour tends to be tough, and only with cake flour only is not chewy enough, so I wanted to make a personalized version. This is the absolutely best naan I've ever made! Eat with keema curry. If the dough sticks to your hands, dust with a little bread flour when forming the dough. When putting the dough in the frying pan, roll it out a bit while cooking. If you use a generous amount of olive oil, the naan will stay tender and delicious even after time! Basic Naan Basic Naan
There are a variety of ways to make naan - with baking powder or baking soda, adding eggs, etc. but I settled on this simple combination of ingredients using instant dried yeast. Since naan is made to eat with curry, there's not much need to season it. Since they're so plain, pretty much anyone will like these.Since there is no second proving, these can be made relatively quickly. There's no need for oil when baking. I recommend using a non-stick frying pan. Recipe by Yukiline cookpad.japan -

Cheese Naan Bread Cheese Naan Bread
In our home, we occasionally make naan to eat with curry. After making them many times, I settled on this recipe since it has a flavor and texture that my family loves. In Step 6, instead of using a rolling pin, you can just stretch out the dough with your hands. In Step 7, adjust the cooking time depending on your stove and frying pan. I put a thin film of oil in the pan, but you can omit the oil if you prefer. Recipe by caramel-cookie cookpad.japan -
My Favorite Cheese Naan My Favorite Cheese Naan
This is the cheese naan that I always order when I go to an Indian curry restaurant. Actually I want to go to the restaurant just to eat the naan on it's own but I'd be too embarrassed so wondered if I could try making it at home. One of my friends who worked there told me their secret was to mix the cheese with sugar so I gave the recipe a go.Be patient when gathering the dough. It's a very soft dough so it's hard to gather up but don't lose hope! Recipe by Puchasuke cookpad.japan -
Naturally Leavened Naan made in a Frying Pan Naturally Leavened Naan made in a Frying Pan
I often use natural leaven to make breads and so I decided to try using it to make naan.It turns out you can cook naturally leavened bread in a frying pan. When the surface of the naan puffs up in 3 places, it's time to flip it over. When using only bread flour, increase the bread flour by 50 g to get the same result. Recipe by yoshikoskz cookpad.japan
