Basic Naan

There are a variety of ways to make naan - with baking powder or baking soda, adding eggs, etc. but I settled on this simple combination of ingredients using instant dried yeast. Since naan is made to eat with curry, there's not much need to season it. Since they're so plain, pretty much anyone will like these.
Since there is no second proving, these can be made relatively quickly. There's no need for oil when baking. I recommend using a non-stick frying pan. Recipe by Yukiline

Steps
- 1
Put all of the ingredients in a bread machine, and leave until the end of the first proving. (If you don't have a bread machine, knead by hand.)
- 2
Punch out the air out, cut into 6 pieces, roll into balls, and let rest for 15 minutes. Roll flat into teardrops.
- 3
Bake until golden in a frying pan heated on medium. Voilà!
