Rice with sauce

You can never go wrong with a plate of hot basmati rice paired with a mouth watering fish pepper sauce. I made this for myself and it was an absolute delight. #teamsokoto

Meaty flavour delicious

I got tired of tomato stew/sauce, I thought of making something different and colorful to go with my rice, so the idea of making a sauce with beef and veggies popped up ☀😀. I really enjoyed it.

This is one food my family so much loves to eat because of d combination of veggies $ protein in the right proportion. My husband now find eating rice so pleasant cos its so yummy and the kids always looks forward to eating white rice often

I first had this sauce in Kaduna in a restaurant and i never stopped until i could perfectly replicate it at home. So this is now a once in a while treat at home for me. So simple to make yet sophisticated

Soft Coconut rice served with tomatoes sauce...Coconut Rice is a classic recipe.I wanted the obvious presence of coconut in this meal. So I omitted curry from the recipe in boiling the meat. I wanted to taste coconut and I did.Please endeavour to use fresh grated and blended coconuts with warm water . Canned coconuts milk is not an option if you really want to do this.After making my Coconut fried rice I was sold to coconut recipes. I love this as well, it was yummy.

The story behind this food eeeeh😂😂I was jejely passing on my own at Zika villa ooooh, when @cookingwithseki carried her vegetable sauce to do me olonga(long throat), I ask her for recipe ooo🤓, but she was doing shakara for me, I vex, enter kitchen and did some yummilicious concoction 😋😋 and it turned out superb, so I did my own shakara for her, by mentioning her and posting it😂😂😂😂😂😂

My love for white rice just makes me wanna try out different kinds of stew and sauces to go perfectly with it. So, this idea just came out of my love for vegetables and I thought, lets give it a try.....what could possibly go wrong in trying right😄

Well I was hungry and I remembered that I had rice in d kitchen so I decided to make this dish

I believe as Nigerians we have come a long way no matter the situation. We shall get there. So in celebration of a special day as this I cooked this green rice, using pumpkin leaf. Blend or hand squeeze the leafs with water to bring out the green colour. Cook the rice with it . Healty alternative to green colouring..Happy 58th Independence to Nigerians..
