Cooking Instructions

In a large bowl, sift all the dry ingredients together(except sugar). Add sugar then whisk.

Rub in the butter until you get a crumbly mixture.

Add golden syrup or honey and mix until it forms a dough.On this stage please mix using your hands. It will be easier for the dough to come well together

Scoop out the dough using a spoon or an ice cream scoop. Form into equal balls.

Line the baking tray with parchment paper. Place the dough balls. Slightly flatten each with your palm

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 Degrees Celsius for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.Don’t over bake them otherwise they will be hard like a rock

Make sure the oven is very hot before baking, it will help to give the cookies those cracks.
Note 📌: Feel free to add 3 tsp of ginger powder if you like ginger cookies ❤️.
