Simple Dinner Rolls

I wanted to make bread but didn't know how to make it. This bread can be made easily in the bread maker and you can eat as an accompaniment to dinner. I used this recipe when I was just starting out baking bread in my own way.

If using this amount of ingredients, be sure to remove from the bread maker after the first rising has been completed, and use an oven to bake the bread. The amount of ingredients listed is too much to leave in the bread maker, so it won't work.

I use this combination of ingredients as a base. You can use it to make a square loaf in a pan (shokupan or Pullman bread), or add dried fruits & nuts etc. for different variations. Recipe by Mahha mama

Ingredients

16 servings
  1. 300 gramsBread (strong) flour
  2. 20 gramsSugar
  3. 3 gramsSalt
  4. 25 gramsMargarine (or butter)
  5. 5 gramsDry yeast
  6. 180 mlWater (or warm boiled water, in the summer, use ice water)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Put all of the ingredients into the bread maker and turn on the course for the first rising.

  2. 2

Once the first rising has been completed, take it out and form two round balls. Put the seam on the bottom and let rest for 15 minutes.

  3. 3

After resting, separate each half into 8 pieces (for a total of 16). Cutting in half -> fourths -> eighths is an easy way to do it.

  4. 4

Form each piece of dough into round balls, put the seam on the bottom and let them rest for 15 minutes.

  5. 5

When rested, round the dough into balls once again.

  6. 6

Neatly line them up on a baking sheet and perform the second rising at 45°C for about 30-40 minutes.

  7. 7

When the second rising has finished, they'll be doubled in size.

  8. 8

Bake for 26 minutes in a 180°C oven, and then they're done.

  9. 9

If you preheated the oven to 180°C, it will take 18 minutes to bake.

  10. 10

I made half the dough into a small square loaf here.
