Cod and Parsley Fish Cakes

I made the Recipe up . Did have some beaten hen eggs left , so I made a plain Omelette and I had 3 large Chillies - I gently fried them whole on a low simmer along with my homemade fish cakes . I did have Shop bought Salad Cream with the dinner , but it was not on the Dinner Plate when I took the Photo with my Smartphone . The Chillies were hot with the Seeds in - so can scrape the Seeds out of the cooked large Chillies , particularly the small ones .

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Place the Cod fish portions in boiling hot water for 30 seconds then put in a large mixing bowl
- 2
Take the skin off of the 6 cold cooked Jacket Potatoes and then discard and mix the inner cooked potatoes in with the partially cooked Cod and season with some grinds of salt - mix - and then grind some more salt in. Put no less than 50ml of Olive Oil in the Cup attachment of your Nutri Ninja Blender or any Blender and then place your soak cleaned Parsley into the Cup along with the Olive Oil and then blend for 2 minutes. Add too mix
- 3
Will need at least 2 large mixing bowls for the next task. Beat 5 hen eggs in One mixing bowl and place breadcrumbs in the other mixing bowl - for the flour - can place the flour on a Dinner Plate. So spoon your fish and potato mix etc. onto the tray of a pair of Scales and measure about 125g for each portion of fish cake and then coat in flour on all sides and then dip into the beaten eggs and then coat on all sides with the breadcrumbs
- 4
Add Ten tablespoons of Olive Oil too a Wok etc. and then add 125g from a block of butter and then fry on high for 2 minutes on the One side and then turn over for a frying on high for a further 2 minutes and then turn the hob down too the lowest simmer - turn the fish cakes over and then gently heat through with the Lid on for 10 minutes and then turn them over for a further gentle frying of 10 minutes
- 5
The mix makes 11 fish cakes, but people will probably want 2 each - so serve 2 fish cakes with some deep fried chips etc..

Indian fish cakes Indian fish cakes
Just felt like experimenting today. I wanted fish and could taste indian flavors already. So i decided to make these. Inspired by my indian heritage i decide to put a twist on fish curry and make these cakes. They turned out quite delicious. Try this recipe, build on it, make it better. This was my first run at this one and it can be tweaked in lots of ways. But it is VERY good the way it is. Chat masala can be purchased at any indian market and some international markets. Its an all purpose indian seasoning. You can use whatever you like or have on hand....ENJOY!!!!!!! nkboxerdude -

I have to make anything that's not sold in a Japanese grocery store, so I tried making this. You can use a hand mixer or a grinding bowl to process the mixture! If you can get a hold of fresh yams, grate them instead of using dried yamatoimo yam powder. (Attention: You can't eat yam raw. You can eat it if you cook it.) For 2 plates worth. Fried Hanpen Fish Cake with Mentaiko and Mayo for Bento Fried Hanpen Fish Cake with Mentaiko and Mayo for Bento
I used the hanpen and mentaiko that had been sitting in my fridge, and it turned out delicious.Adding in the hanpen fish cake after mixing the mayonnaise and mentaiko will help to coat the fish cake more evenly.Hanpen fish cake falls apart easily, so mix gently. These will cook up differently depending on the toaster oven heat setting used, so keep an eye on it when cooking!I used lots of mentaiko, but it tastes delicious with about this much added.
