Ingredients

  1. 6fresh pears
  2. 2 tbsplemon juice
  3. 1/4 cupall-purpose flour
  4. 3/4 cupsugar
  5. 1/4 tspmace
  6. 1/4 tspcinnamon
  7. 2 tbspbutter
  8. pastry for a double crust 9 inch pie

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Core unpeeled pears & slice in eighths. Sprinkle with lemon juice.

  2. 2

    Mix flour, sugar, mace, & cinnamon. Toss with pears to coat.

  3. 3

    Place pears in pastry lined pie plates. Dot with butter.

  4. 4

    Cover with top crust. Seal sides by pressing them together. Cut slits in crust to vent.

    Bake at 425 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
