Quick Salsa
Wanted a quick snack with what I had in the fridge.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Chop the garlic and the onion really thin. Put some generous serving of salt and mix them with a spoon. The salt will make them turn soft.
- 2
Add all the herbs and seasoning you think will work. I recommend basil or oregano, pepper, chilli if you have it.
- 3
Chop the tomatoes into small chunks and add to the onion garlic mixture. Squeeze some lemon or lime juice to taste.
- 4
Serve and enjoy as a snack. I would recommend serving as a dip with baked tortilla chips or any baked cruncky vegetable, I served it wih gluten free toast and Norwegian bread.

I suppose it would be easier to put the tomatoes, bell pepper, etc. to a food processor and pulse for a few seconds. But since I don't have one, I have to do it the old-fashioned way--slice and dice them manually! I call this quick salsa because I just slice and dice vegetables that I found in my fridge. If you only have tomatoes and onions, that would work, too. Angela Mertoyono -

Quick and Easy Salsa Quick and Easy Salsa
This salsa is super quick and very cheap to make. I didn't want to drag out my blender, so I used my smoothie maker and it worked great. Don't keep it on to long or you will have Mexican flavored tomato sauce. My kids love this stuff! So if you're trying to save some money or don't want to go to the store, you can make this with stuff sitting in your cupboard. Enjoy!Travis Jeffrey

I love taco rice with salsa, so I made some at home.If you don't like green peppers, you can omit them. If you use only 1 teaspoon of Tabasco, kids can probably still eat it too.For kids, cut the vegetables very fine so that they can easily eat it. Recipe by Tamutarou cookpad.japan -

Simple Salsa Sauce Simple Salsa Sauce
This is my variation on a taco rice sauce my friend taught me.-It's even more delicious if you let it sit overnight rather than eating it right away.-If you don't like tomato skins, you can peel them first.-For children, soak the onions in water and don't use the chili sauce.
