Pizza monkey bread

My kids love pizza and bug me all the time for pizza. I get tired of frozen pizza and sometimes don’t have the money to order a pizza. This works out great and everyone is happy. It’s easy and quick, and I also make my pizza dip, with this and have a pizza night. I like to cut a chunk off and put it on a plate with dipping sauce, and put some pizza dip and baguettes for each kids plate , and they still get to eat it like monkey bread. ( see other recipe- pizza dip)

Ingredients

  1. 2 cansPillsbury buttermilk biscuits
  2. 2 cupsmozzarella cheese
  3. 3 tbspolive oil
  4. 1/4 cuppepperoni cut them in half
  5. 1 tspparsley flakes
  6. 1 tsporegano
  7. 1/2 tspred pepper flakes *optional*
  8. 2 clovesgarlic minced
  9. Sever with pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  10. You can add any pizza toppings you like
  11. Mushrooms, peppers, onions, olives, just make sure you cut them somewhat small

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Spray a bundt pan with some cooking spray or you can use some butter. Just so that nothing sticks

  2. 2

Cut each biscuit into 4 quarters

  3. 3

Drizzle some olive oil, oregano, parsley, red pepper flakes, Mix with hands and add pepperoni, mozzarella cheese on top of the biscuit quarters and give everything a mix

  4. 4

Place biscuit quarters into the bundt pan and add extra cheese and pepperoni if needed.

  5. 5

Add more cheese, and the reserved pepperoni

  6. 6

Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes or until done, un cover the last 5 mins

  7. 7

Go around the sides and middle with a butter knife (I thought this was done but it felt a little doughy and I put it back in for 10 more mins, I forgot to set a timer... the last picture you can see where it raised more and that it was done.)

  8. 8

Flip out onto severing tray. Quickly flip Back over, you don’t want the cheese to stick to the severing tray, and this will be hot... I just do it fast with my hands. (should look like this, you don’t want to sever it the other way)

  9. 9

I have a small container that I put sauce in, that lucky fit right in the middle.

  10. 10

Notes- I used my favorite spaghetti sauce for dipping. I make this and my pizza dip together a lot of times and instead of getting pizza sauce, I get my favorite spaghetti sauce and spilt it between both recipes.
