Butter cookies

I grew up with quite a few Italian bakeries around town. I've searched for ten years for a recipe. Found it on pinterest! Now I'm on a search for the colored ones with the sprinkles on them. I don't know what they're called though. : )

I love peanut butter cookies, and what's better than adding chocolate to the mix?!? 😁🍫

Usually I bake this simple recipe for friends and family for holidays or wine night with the girls! Delicious buttery,cant just eat 1 :)

But how relaxing is it to make cookies at home with the little helper? We like it so much; this time it was the butter biscuits (recipe taken from my new book "Christmas Sweets") to which I made some small changes and covered some with chocolate, others with cinnamon powder and others with cane sugar 😀 Simple and quick to to prepare, butter biscuits are excellent for breakfast or as a snack, they can be kept for a few days in a tin box 😉

for more fun i like to add colored sprinkles depending on the season... i loved them when my oma made them and my kids love them just as much... for diabetes just replace all sugars with sweeteners... its just as good i promise :) :cookie

These have now been dubbed Grandma's Christmas Cookies, everybody's favorite, especially my daughter! 🎄 Jennifer said, "you can skip the Scotcheroos this year if you wanna bring a double batch...but don't forget the Fantasy Fudge! 😁

I saw the recipe going around for chocolate chip cookies stuffed with Oreos and thought I would try something similar. What I ended up making was one of the best cookies I've ever had.

A little surprise tucked into a delicate butter cookie. Only made during the holidays because they are just so sinfully decedent.

My youngest son don't eat a lot of stuff but he loves peanut butter so I just threw all this together and he loved it. Been making it ever since.
