- medium red onions, finely chopped • red pepper, chopped into chunks • garlic, finely chopped • fresh red chilli, finely chopped • cube fresh ginger, finely chopped • turmeric • ground coriander • ground cumin • teaspoon mild chilli • nigella seeds (optional) • coconut oil, melted (can use olive oil) • tin coconut milk •

- pasta - we like any shape but penne works well here • olive oil • garlic, crushed and finely chopped • piece of chorizo, paper removed and finely chopped • leek, washed and finely chopped • mushrooms, peeled and cut into chunky slices • fresh herbs - we used rosemary and thyme • orange zest from 1 orange • juice from 1 orange • dry white wine - italian is nice here; Gavi or Pecorino maybe.. • fresh cream - double if possible • tomato puree •

- large chicken breasts, cut into large chunks • thick yoghurt - we use Fage 5% greek • heaped tsp cumin • heaped tsp garam masala • turmeric • tsp mild chilli powder • olive or coconut oil • medium onions, finely chopped • garlic cloves,finely chopped • piece of root ginger (or use a heaped tsp frozen ginger), finely chopped or grated • extra tsp cumin and turmeric • new potatoes, skins on, pre-cooked - we were using some leftovers! •
