Sesame paste with string beans

Hurry @hurry
Mixing sesame paste with vegetables is one of the traditional Japanese dishes. Spinach can be used in place of the string beans. The tahini is a little bitter, so you can mash the sesame seeds yourself or use non-sugar peanut butter.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Remove the stems from the green beans and boil them in salted water.
Drain the water and cut in half. - 2
Mix all the seasonings and when well mixed, dress the green beans.
Finished!

Black Sesame Paste is available from many supermarkets in Japan, but there is no such a thing where I live now. When I want to use it for cooking, I make it. Homemade paste is not smooth like the store-bought paste, but it is good enough for me. Today I made soft sweet paste, that I used as a sauce for Mochi Dumplings. You can mix it with softened Butter and make it into a spread.

Pistachio Paste
The other day, I wanted to make Pistachio Ice Cream. To make it, I needed Pistachio Paste. I tried to find it and I was shocked! Have you ever tried to buy Pistachio Paste? It is extremely expensive. So, I decided to make it by myself. I soaked the Kernels in water to soften, so that it would be easy to remove the brown tough skin. Then I processed them into paste. I added some Sugar and 1 pinch Salt. How simple it is!
