White Chicken Chili

Chicki @cook_2773262
I invited family over for dinner last night and they loved it :) It was so yummy. I cut the amount of spices in half so it wouldn't be too spicy. I also added some corn starch to make it a bit thicker and made rice to pour the chili over. I'm sure my fiancee will ask me to make it again in the near future :) :hungry

I am not a chili guy in general and never thought white chili sounded good but I made for my wife and this was a big hit with me, her and friends.I did what others recommended. I used 3 cans of Navy beans and 1 can of Pinto beans. I also pureed 2 cans of Navy beans. this really could use something to help thicken it but I don't know what.

I made this and it
turned out very good. I altered the recipe a bit to my liking. I cut the chicken broth in half to maintain a thick consistency and added an extra can of mashed beans. :ohyeaah

Delicious! I liquefied a can of northern beans instead of crushing them to add to the thickness. The spiciness grew more intense the longer it simmered. Even then, my husband added red pepper for more heat ;-)

This is a awesome recipe! A little on the spicy hot side for my kids, but I still loved it! Thank you!

So good! I did what another reviewer recommended, added a little brown sugar and puréed one of the cans of beans. Also added a tablespoon of cumin. Even better the second day.

This was great. Not overly spicy. Did not add the jalapeno. Easy to make. Will definitely make again!

Excellent! I had to sub cajun seasoning because I was out of cayenne, but turned out awesome.

this was super yummy. I like how it was more soupy than chunky, awesome over some white rice!! I skipped the green chiles, and used half the amount of cumin and it still had an awesome chili flavor.

This is very similar to my recipe except I use pinto beans because I prefer them and I put pepper jack cheese directly in the chili and top with fresh tomato and torn cilantro.

Delicious I also added a can of corn with chilies in it. Instead of just chilies! Made it a little less spicy for my whimpys at home

I cut the green chiles back to 4oz. and the cayenne pepper to one tbs. because I didnt want it to be too spicy.. cooked it in the crock pot for 5 hours make some rice and stired it in helped tame down the heat!

Add 2 jars of alfredo sauce! It completes this recipe. Makes it creamier, thicker and delicious!
