I so love this recipe!!!! I used almond milk instead, hate the taste of regular milk.

GloLuvs2Cook @cook_2820233
I tried this recipe tonight and It is great. I used Almond Milk, and added 1/2 Tbs. Nesquick and 1 Tbs. Low Fat cool whip, delicious! It relaxed me and fed my sweet tooth ;)

This is so simple, quick, yummy, & relaxing! I have insomnia, so I'm hoping this will help me fall asleep easier, will definitely let you know. :yawn

Laureleve @laureleve

Absolutely delicious an my new favorite drink and I'm not even a milk drinker!. Dreamy was definitely the word for it!!! :)
MamaLiea @cook_2894815
yum... this has been a favorite of mine for years, except I like mine with a bit of cardamom too.

some people seem to be extremely confused. This is to help you get to sleep, not to power through the morning. The nutrition facts says that the serving size for 1342 calories is 667ml. A teaspoon of honey and a cup of milk is only 245ml give or a take a couple ml's. Obviously they don't translate properly. A full cup of whole milk is almost 150 calories. A teaspoon of honey is around 21 calories. I'm not sure about the other ingredients but I don't think they make up over 1,000 calories.

I love this. It really relaxes me after a long day. I JUST finished having a cup of it and I'm ready for bed. Goodnight!
ShylaC @cook_2975881
I've been drinking this before bed since I was little and my momma made it.

Tiffanye @cook_2999312
Awesome! All my kids loved it even my husband liked it and he don't like milk. This is my families new nighttime drink. Thank you!
beachside40 @cook_3110254

Really yummy!!!! I don't really like milk but this was amazing. Instead of 1tsp of honey I used 2 :ohyeaah

carrie @carebear1128
Dreamy. I made it with vanilla almond milk and added a pinch of nutmeg. :yawn
excitedsnail639 @cook_3305782
Lovely nighttime treat :-) and why are people saying this has outrageous calories? I used skim milk which is 80 calories per cup. I only used about one teaspoon of honey which is about 26. Neither vanilla nor cinnamon has calories...
freestyleCook @cook_3323043
I made this last night and also added nutmeg along with the cinnamon. Next time I will stick to the recipe as the nutmeg caught in my throat! I still enjoyed this though. I slept well!
gertee @cook_3334329
Don't always look at calories, look at contents. Honey is one of God's perfect foods.

Brian James @gtyn
I gave the recipe to my girlfriend. She substituted maple syrup for the honey. She said, "it is heaven in a cup."

Hannah Marshall @cook_3355880
My niece and I love it. It's so yummy and even helps her fall asleep (she's three)

hassan.waqar.31 @cook_3359013
dafuq with the calories.... I'll try it for the breakfast... :chef

hazedp03 @cook_3360189
Not bad. I couldn't resist... had to eat a slice of cake to go along with it. :)

jadababe @cook_3395735
I liked this I used almond milk instead since I don't drink milk since it has so many hormones, pus, and cancer causing chemicals, and actually is bad for your bones. scary I plan on trying it with coconut milk as well

jamie1972 @cook_3400596
Yummy! And people, PLEASE calm down about the calorie count. It is wrong. A cup of whole milk is only 150 calories, and a teaspoon of honey is less than 50. :ohyeaah
jollylady @cook_3448389
This was very good. I used 2% lactose free milk. I'm going to add nutmeg as others have suggested.

mandydawn1208.aw @cook_3587718
Me and my kids tried this. Added extra honey and whip cream on top. Was great.

Mayci Namio @cook_3607469
Made this for the boyfriend and he loved it so much, he actually wanted me to teach him how to make it so he could do it himself. That good! I didn't have honey so I did a simple syrup with sugar and water and it still turned out delicious.

patricia.rourke.56 @cook_3718605
used 2%milk(but did put a little whipped cream on top. Excellent! Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

nicole.williams.1804 @cook_3689924
I make this all the time!!!! Love it! I use a piece of dried Vanilla bean instead of extract. You can soak them and then set them out to dry for future use so cutting a small piece for your hot drinks is a definite enhancement to any relaxing moment

samantha.dominick @cook_3798624
This was so good, idk why I haven't thought of this before! Thank you so much for the recipe! ~(o.o)~

snehalsms @cook_3852883
I love this!!! ~(o.o)~ I made it sooo many times but drink it up before I can take a snap... will post a pic soon.

superfoodie @cook_3878407
made mine with unsweetened vanilla almond milk, and pumpkin pie spice ' cause that's what I had. Then I added, brandy and a spoon of brown sugar! sorry, i had to go there, SOOOOOOOO GOOD! and now I'm goin to bed.
