OMG! It's a great nod for Mother's Day. I bet your mom would be thrilled about how many people love this recipe! ~(o.o)~

Delicious, I cooked it about 5 minutes longer and it didn't have the 'bread pudding' effect, then again, I'm at a quite high altitude so that could've made a difference also. Very tasty.

I love it...my family enjoyed it n it needs a bit more bread to soak up the mixture. Id love to try raisin bread next time ~(o.o)~

So easy!! I didn't need a whole pan of this for 2 people so I cut the recipe in half and used a small pan. I used challah for my bread and added some nutmeg to the egg mix.

Hi this is one of my FAVOURITE dishes but we have it as a pudding here in the U.K. It's called 'Bread & Butter Pudding' Usually made with sliced white bread-buttered then layered in a dish with sugar & raisins then add the eggs milk & vanilla (custard) & leave to stand to soak up the mixture, sugar & more raisins on top then bake! It's lovely hot with cream & just as nice cold nxt day. U can use all sorts of bread like sliced French bread, Brioché, bagels, even fruit loaf. It's great for using up day old bread. I also hav made A Cheese version-layered with ur favourite cheese then the egg mixture but No sugar! Lovely as a Supper dish & a Chocolate & Orange one-Spread the bread & butter with Orange Marmalade then sprinkle with Choco chips!
Yummy! What more can I say! ~(o.o)~ :excited :ohyeaah
(sorry it's a bit long!) Lol.

similar to the pioneer women recipe..only suggestion I have is use a crusty French bread and soak the torn bread overnight takes it to another level..also a pinch of nutmeg with the cinnamon butter topping

LOL. Another name for this is bread pudding. I'm sure it's tasty. Serve as a dessert with ice cream or whipped cream.

Excellent! Made double this for family holiday brunch for 19 people and they all wanted the recipe.

This is great....I would just cut down the sugar if you are going to put maple syrup on it!!! Yummy :)

Made this for breakfast today and it was great. I used regular bread and cranberry bagels (to get ride of the bagels). It was even better cold-the kids even agreed.

This is delicious! It tastes like bread pudding when eaten cold, which I love. Mine and my sister's kids couldn't get enough. I made mine with gluten free bread and added some nutmeg too. Yummy!

I made this dish for dinner. I was very disappointed. it was soggy, bland and post chewed consistency. will not make again.

I just made this for my two boys and my husband....and the WHOLE PAN IS GONE

reyna86 @cook_3766961
Way too much eggs! It was totally slime on the inside and firm on the outside. :-@
schnebs15 @cook_3813697
I didn't make this one, I have my own recipe. But to everyone making it add cream cheese while beating the eggs!

very yummy and easy. Best part is it doesn't have to sit overnight to make it. Just as tasty the next day

Seems so simple to make, I'm gonna try it out this weekend and share it with my mom in law.
