1specialgurl91104 @cook_2699942
patricia rourke if you don't mind how did you make the peach pie version of this recipe?
Benjamin Mathieu @cook_2736491
It tases great but for those who wanted more of a "moonshine" taste, add a cup of ever clear to the batch and it's awesome!!!

Just got through making some and it already tastes amazing. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. :ohyeaah

This is a stellar recipe! I used 1 cup each of dark brown and white sugar and instead of canned apples I added fresh apple slices for the last 20 minutes of the simmer. On my last batch I tried adding approx 1 tablespoon nutmeg and whole cloves. It definitely added to the flavor but it started to become more like spiced cider than apple pie 'shine. Its a winner Tinklee!

Thanks so much for sharing guess I don't have to wait for anyone to go to west Virginia to get me some anymore. <3 it!

awesome! Doubled recipe and tripled the liquor, deceptively intoxicating. Gotta go make more!

good stuff. used 101 proof hot damn instead of fireball and worked great.

This is My first time making this recipe, I'm in the 4 to 6 hour process right now, let you know how it turns out soon.

I'm starting to see this everywhere! I love it and now I can make my own!

Love this stuff!! Easy to do and brings so much fun to the party. making double batch to give as holiday gifts. If Tinklee told me to wrap dirty socks in bacon and bake them. I would do it!!! LOL.

I love this almost as much as the real thing.. first batch was great but I had to beef up the ever clear for the second batch. Also the highest proof I could get in my state was 151 so of course I doubled amount required in first batch. I'm now making my second batch and I'm using two bottles instead of one :excited let the good times roll lol

Delicious stuff! I've made a few different flavors of moonshine I've seen on here and this one is still my favorite!

I made this and decided it was way too sweet..I used one small jar of honey and it was perfect

Bryan Draper @cook_3893218
Very good, even after just sitting a couple weeks. I used fresh apples and double the cinimon sticks. Really smooth
William Hedrick @cook_4653893
I'm from Delaware and got a relative who brought me some good stuff from the hills and trying your recipe out , there's nothing like moonshine !
William Hedrick @cook_4653893
I got a neighbor who dont drink but was over when i was making up the apple pie and loved it so i told them i would make up a alchol free version of it
William Hedrick @cook_4653893
Just wondering two things #1 will it hurt if you don't strain it ? #2 will it go bad not refrigerated ?

tinklee @cook_3915364
sorry i have been gone for a bit, it will just be cloudy if you dont strain it, and yes it will be fine if just left somewhere cool

Rebecca Haylock @cook_6119126
Hi there! Just a quick question. At the end when its in the jars and you put the lids on, do you do a water bath to seal the tops or are they fine to just hand tighten? Thanks!
