QOTW: Who/What are your cooking inspirations?

Crock Pot Girl 🤡 @CrockpotGirl
My cooking inspiration is Cookpad ! 🤗
It’s feels amazing to publish my recipes , or to make someone else’s recipe and then to tell them about how much I enjoyed their recipe ! 😊

I agree with Crock pot girl. 🙂 Trying new recipes and then thinking "hmm, what can I do?".

I love gathering inspiration for trying new dishes from Cookpad as well.
My family is also a huge source of inspiration because their enjoyment of what I cook drives me to learn more and cook better with every single meal.

I got my inspiration from growing up in a family of terrific cooks. As a child I got to help and i loved it. I love those memories and still cook the comfort foods i had growing up. I remember being in the garden in the morning and cooking for lunch. Times have changed but i still love my garden and fresh veggies. Thanks to all the wonderful women in my family who taught me. Cook pad now gives me a chance to learn and share like years gone by. Thanks for such a great site!

Rachel Khoo, Martin Yan, Justin Wilson, Iron Chef Japan the original. And most definitely cookpad and all the wonderful folks here!!

I would say my dad. About half of my recipes are from him. He was a great cook.

Thanks for sharing your answers with me! Now that I think about it, I'll have to add that getting to interact with y'all and sharing our cooking stories inspires me too. It's nice to check in and see what everyone's up to in the kitchen! <3

My older sister Haley is the one who taught me to cook. When she left I became a pastry chef. She was my inspiration! 🥰
