In tamilnadu we do not use urad in making a stew or soup. I used skinned urad, soaked and blended withnonion, ginger and garlic. after sauteing onion and tomato, I added water and then the urad paste to the saucepan and brought it to boil and seasoned with my home made masala with spices. I liked your recipe and presentation
