Soup sounds fabulous! This type of artichoke is not often seen over here - mostly I think because no-one knows what to do with them! First time I had them was in France 45+ years ago. They were delicious, simply boiled and served in a bowl with a side of vinaigrette (what we know as French dressing) to dip the leaves into.

Thank you for your feedback and prayer. It is becoming public that our city watersystems run dry when a wildfire hits. The fires in our lil town and in Oregon, and Hawaii, and now Los Angeles, burn out of control when the firefighters dont have water. We lost eleven hundred homes in four hours, five years ago. Country farms like mine are less risky because we dont count on fire fighters, we dont build with wood anymore.
