It can definitely be frozen but without the sugar on then I'd add a sprinkling on the thawed one after beating or cold. 👍👍😀

I really don't know, you probably can but they will already have a little sugar in them so I might add less sugar to the mix and slightly less fruit too.

@Caroline123 I had a houseguest (until yesterday) who was quite wasteful about buying bread. She bequeathed me a breadbin and freezer full of six different breads: white, brown, wholemeal, burger buns, bagels, pitta bread...all went into the mix, and it was yummmmy...

@Coll257 gosh that might be a bit sweet now. I like to keep things as natural as possible. I know there's sugar in the recipe but the fruit also contains sugars. How was it?

Thanks for great sharing recipe love breadpudding cant find it anywhere these day I very first time baking came out well burned slightly on bottom as I thought it felt to soft so added cooking time but was tasted great
