Make the crust: In a bowl, combine the egg, sugar, softened butter, and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Gradually add the flour until you have a soft, elastic dough. The exact amount of flour may vary depending on the brand, so add as needed until the dough is just right.

Line a tart pan with the dough and chill in the refrigerator.

For the filling: Peel the bananas and slice them. Drizzle with orange juice.

Heat a skillet over medium heat with 3 tablespoons sugar (40 grams). Add the bananas and orange juice. Let them caramelize for 10 minutes, then set aside.

In a bowl, mix the ground almonds, remaining sugar, egg, and heavy cream until well combined.

Remove the crust from the refrigerator. Spread the almond mixture evenly over the crust, then arrange the drained banana slices on top to cover the filling.

Sprinkle with chopped almonds and powdered sugar.

Bake in a preheated oven at 320°F (160°C), using both top and bottom heat, for 50-60 minutes.
