Wash & rinse both sarso & palak. Put them in a cooker with 1 cup of water. After a whistle, slow down the flame & cook for 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a pan & add chopped onions& ginger garlic paste. Cook till it becomes translucent.

Now add all the ingredients & saute. Add ground tomatoes & cook till oil spreads from corners.

Now grind the saag in a grinder,just once & add it to the masala Cook on low flame till all the water dissolves.

Take makki ka atta with salt & carom seeds.Make a smooth dough with the help of warm water.

Make small balls out of it. Give them chapati shape with your hands.

Heat the tawa & put the makki chapati on it. Pour 1 tsp desi ghee on one side & cook till it becomes golden brown. flip it & do the same process with other part.

Serve hot with sarso ka saag
