Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in the pan and add mustard seed, cumin seeds and asafoetida to it, as soon as the colour starts changing, add curry leaves, garlic, ginger and green chilli paste, turmeric powder, then mix the mashed potatoes and salt and stir till the potato water dries.

Turn off the gas and now add coriander leaves and keep the mixture to cool down.

Now mix gram flour, red chilli powder, salt, turmeric, baking soda in a vessel and then add water to it and prepare a thick paste.

Take one bread slice and spread stuffing mixture evenly over it. Don’t over stuff the mixture.

Cover it with another bread slice and cut it in triangular shape.

Heat oil in Pan. Deep bread slice in basan batter and deep fry bread pakoras on medium flame.

Serve hot bread pakoda with tomato sauce or chutney.
