This is one of my personal favourite sweet, and everybody at my home enjoy it equally. This is made using whole cream milk dumplimgs soaked in thick flavoured milk.
Steps
- 1
At first bring to boil 1 litre milk to make dumlings, when it is bit cold, add lemon juice to it, the milk starts to curdle.
- 2
Chhena is formed, strain it properly, then adding cornflour mash it properly for atleast 15 mins.
- 3
Now make balls using chhena.
- 4
In a thick flat bottomed pan, bring water and 1 cup sugar to boil, add chhena dumplings to it, cook them for atleast 15 mins.
- 5
Leave the balls to cool, in a separate pan, bring the remaining milk to boil, add 1/2 cup sugar, cardamom powder, saffron, pistachios, let it shimmer for a while.
- 6
Once the milk is bit cold, add chhena balls to it. Your rasmalai is ready. Enjoy. Waiting for your feedbacks.
