Ingredients

60 minutes
6_8 servings
  • 1 bunchspinach (chopped)
  • 1 bunchmint leaves (chopped)
  • 1 cupgram flour
  • 1medium sized onion
  • 1medium tomato
  • 5_6 garlic cloves
  • 1 1/2 inchginger
  • 1 cupyogurt
  • 1 tbspred chilli powder
  • 1 tbspcoriander powder
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • 1/2 tspwhole spice powder
  • 1 tbspcumin seeds
  • to tasteSalt
  • as neededOil

    Mix all the powdered spices together in a bowl and keep a side

  4. 4

    Grind onions and tomato together and grind ginger, garlic and green chillies together

    Take a large bowl and add gram flour into it and half of the powdered spices. Mix well Than add chopped and washed spinach and Mint into it. Make a tight dough by mixing every thing together. Add water if needed

    Make louf from that dough and keep in a strainer after applying oil on strainer.

    Give steam for about 15_20 minutes in water boiler

    Take out from strainer when done. And make slices as u cut cake. shallow fry them in oil at this stage and keep a side

    Add ginger garlic and green chillies paste and cumin seeds in heated oil and cook for 4_5 minutes

    Now add onion and tomato paste and cook well so that every thing combine together and colour become golden and oil seperated out

    Now add dry spices and mix together. Cook for 3_4 minutes.

    Now mix yogurt and cook well till oil seperated again

    Now mix pattoray slices into the mixture and add water as much they soak nicely. And cook on simmer for 5_10 minutes after boil comes. Keep covered the lid

    When gravy is of desired consistency turn off the heat and serve with chapati
