Ingredients

  • 16 ozfresh Strawberries
  • 3 tbssugar
  • 1.5 tbsfresh Lemon juice
  • Lemon zest to taste (half a lemon)

Steps

  1. 1

    Remove strawberry tops and cut berries into quarters.

  2. 2

    In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients.

  3. 3

    Over medium-low heat, allow the heat and sugar to pull the liquid out of the strawberries, stirring occasionally.
